Dear February 4th, 2016, Please come soon! Love, The Bills Family
I am still always surprised on how you seem to know everyone and their family that I meet on my mission mom!!! hahahah
I can't remember the lady's name, but she came up to me yesterday and said, "Which one of you is from Texas?" and I said me and then she went "OH MY GOSH I TALKED WITH YOUR MOM THE OTHER DAY SHE IS SO GREAT" hahahah. (This woman and I are both members of the LDS Seminary Teachers Facebook page)
This is how I met the lady: The Fahners have a family get together once a month and they always take us because the food there is unbelievable. We always go to Sister Fahner's Aunt's house which is in Elgin ward. There are always a good amount of members from Elgin ward too and so I talked to that lady for a bit. I've talked to her and her family before too! Their sons are hilarious. They lived in Texas before I think. They totally knew where Allen was.
And then you also somehow talked to Elder Lee's family???? (Elder Lee's aunt and gramma commented on a photo of our boys together so we chatted online)
You just know everyone!!!!!
I know it's your way to cope with me being gone. I honestly love the fact that you have made so many connections with the people I've met on my mission. They all adore you and enjoy the effort you put into being involved in my own life. I know how much you care and want to know what's going on out here!!!
This week was awesome!!!! We didn't go down to Columbia this week because we wanted to focus on the people we are teaching. Jayden and Parker were both at church this Sunday!! I was so happy to see that. We have been working towards that with them for a long time and it's paying off now.
This week was filled with more lessons than usual. I feel like we were able to help the people we saw too and so I am really happy with this last week.
I don't have too much else to talk about really. Just another week in paradise!
Love you!
Elder Sean Bills
ps Also, I taught the sister's recent convert Jaylen how to do my "pop, lock, drop, and put out the fire" handshake and now his whole family does it all the time hahaha. So here's a video of that. They're a great family. They all have been baptized since I got here and the sisters have done an awesome job helping them and teaching them.
