Well the big call came in this week. On Saturday the AP's called me to release me as DL and then at night the transfer call came in and they called my name out. I expected to leave and I will definitely miss this place. I've been here for so long and I am really excited to move on, but really sad that I have to leave the great town of Lexington. I've learned so much and had so much fun here as a missionary. The members, investigators, and missionaries I've met here have been some of the best people that I have ever met in my life! I'm going to miss it all.
Also on Sunday night I got a call from the AP's again. They told me that I was going to be white washing a new area. That means I will be heading in with a companion who hasn't been there before either. we won't know the people or the area at all, and we will have to figure it out as soon as we get there. This is my third time doing it so I think the saying "Third time's the charm" makes a lot of sense right now hahaha! I did it with Elder Welty and then with Elder Bowen. I'm excited to do it again. At least I know how to do it :)
This past week has been really great but also rough at the same time. Elder Jeffs and Robison are leaving the area as well. I'm excited to see what will happen!!! I have some photos from me with the members. I said bye to a few yesterday and I will be sending more the next week!
I am excited for what the Lord has for me. I know that he has my path in His hands and that he will lead me to something great. He has never let me down before and I know he won't in the future. I know that I can do anything if I rely on the Lord and learn much from him.
In other news this week, we received our Ipad training from Elder Zwick and Brother Hemmingway. It was a great meeting. The whole mission was there and I got to see a lot of people that I miss from this district. On June 6th Elder Christofferson is going to be having a conference with our whole mission too!!!! We will most likely be getting our Ipads then. They gave us a lot of homework to prepare for them, and they are going to help missionary work a ton!!!! I'm excited to not do paprer work all the time haha.
Elder Zwick gave me a lot of great insight and I am going to follow the things that he asked us to do. It will help me in my teaching and help me be as committed as I can be out here. I'm excited to see what lies ahead!!!!
Love y'all, have a great week!
