I already announced this all over Facebook and Instagram but I'm going to blog about it because I'm really happy for Sean and excited for him to have this great experience!
Drumroll please......
Sean is going to attend BYU-Hawaii in the fall!!!
I wrote that in red because we all know Sean thinks red is "manly and majestic" and it happens to be one of the colors of the BYU-Hawaii Seasiders. Here is their logo and we are pretty sure Sean will easily be this tan before Halloween!

It's kind of ironic that Sean is going to Hawaii. He was actually made in Hawaii. Literally. We moved back to the mainland about a month before he was born. He really wants a shirt that says "Made in Hawaii". I'm thinking I need to get him one for graduation. Don't tell him, ok?
Before Sean heads out to the Pacific though, he is going to attend BYU in Provo this summer as a visiting student. He is taking a few classes and living with his big bro, Ryan. They are both so excited about this and can't wait for June. Can you imagine how much trouble these two are going to cause? I worry about the furniture mostly. They cannot go 2 minutes without it turning into some kind of WWF extravanganza!
I can't believe how much is happening in Sean's life over the next 12 months. Graduating from high school, starting college, turning 19, and going on a mission for the Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter-day Saints next January.
I'm going to miss him so much. He shows me he loves me every day in the sweetest ways. He hugs me in front of his friends, he always wants to know where I am when he comes home and I'm not there, he sends me love emoticons when he texts me, he asks me how my day was, and lately he has started doing the dishes and chores without being asked or reminded. He is even doing some chores that aren't even his responsibility.
I'm just so proud of him and so grateful that my Heavenly Father blessed me with my little "made in Hawaii" Seanny.
