We accomplished a lot in missionary work too this week. Rashaun was baptized and confirmed this weekend! It was an awesome experience. I have been so happy ever since. Watching the baptism happen and the effect it had on so many people has given me The Spirit a lot stronger lately. I've felt it more abundantly and I can't help but have a smile on my face all the time. I confirmed Rashaun yesterday and I felt like it was a very inspired blessing. I enjoyed it a lot.
Miriam is doing okay too. Her children found out that she wants to get baptized into our church and it's been discouraging for her, but she and Larry are still adamant on getting married and they are still progressing towards it. Miriam's family is very Anti-church and so they aren't happy with her decision, but she is still going strong! She is a wonderful lady and I have been so blessed to work with her. She is very similar to me in a lot of ways and I enjoy talking with her and teaching her.
The District is doing great too. We've had 3 baptisms in 2 weeks! That's been great for all of us. It's boosted everyone and they are all working hard. For DDM I gave a training on the "Ideas for Study and Application" sections at the back of each chapter and everyone enjoyed it a lot. I'm having everyone follow up on what they did and learned tomorrow for our last DDM of the transfer. It should work out really well.
Transfers is next week Wednesday. I will find out if I either stay or get transferred on Saturday night. I honestly don't know what will happen. I could see me leaving and staying at the same time. I've figured that I will be happy with whatever happens. I'll make sure that I will work my hardest with whatever situation I'm put in.
Today for pday we are playing basketball now we are going to play ultimate spoons where we hide the spoons and have to find them it's awesome. We usually do this every pday with Lake Murray and Gilbert. It doesn't take much to please me. hahahahah
Dad, hahahah yeah I still hate reading things that I'm forced to read, but if I read something with value in it (especially gospel related) I enjoy it! And yes, I hope that I magnify my calling the way I should. I enjoy being DL and it's really all I want to do on my mission and nothing more. I love working with the small group here and in the other districts. I can still be personable because it's small enough.
Mom, I really liked what you sent me about what you said in Gospel Principles. I love that class. It's usually me and the sisters and about 5-10 others with Brother Verburg, our ward mission leader and I learn a lot in there and enjoy it a lot. You're totally right about the Holy Ghost thing! If I didn't have it, I would be so lost! There are so many times where I will be prompted to do something and not even recognize it was the Spirit until after and it just makes me smarter and more on the ball with things. I have been able to discern what people need and ask them the right questions at the right moment because of The Spirit and it has made me an amazing missionary. Without the Spirit I would be a terrible missionary! Hahaha. It always comforts me and keeps me happy. It is what gives me the drive I have every day.
I gotta run now! I know you hate goodbye but I'll be back in 7 days!
Love you!
