So I found out this week that I am staying as DL in Lexington. It's weird because I've never been in an area for more than 4 and a half months on my mission yet. I'll be here 6 months at the end of this transfer. Pretty crazy.
Other than that, this week was good. Miriam came to stake conference. It was a really great meeting. I enjoyed it a lot. We are still working with her and Rashawn and they are progressing fast towards baptism. There really isn't too much more that has gone on this week. Two sisters are leaving our district. Sister Jackson is going home and Sister Barton is being transferred on Wednesday.
I heard about the Seahawks last night I was super happy to hear that they beat the Packers! I can't wait to hear if they win the whole thing or not. I heard about the Patriots too. They'll be a tough team. It'll be a good game.
Dad, here are some scriptures from the Bible that condemn sexual sin. (Some of the boys in Kent's priest quorum said that a friend of theirs, a non member, told them that the Bible doesn’t really condemn sexual sin and that it isn’t a serious sin at all. The boys have looked it up in the Book of Mormon and they know it is there but their friend wants proof from the Bible. Kent asked Sean if anyone has ever asked him about this and if so, what did Sean tell them)
Matthew 5:27-28 “But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart”
Genesis 39:1-18 is all about Potiphar's wife and adultery
Revelation 14:4-5 "These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God."
It says people are blessed for keeping their virtue. It talks about that in Proverbs 31:10 too.
I hope everyone has a great week!
